A documentary film of the world of black metal, a subgenre of heavy metal music known for its dark, intense sound and often controversial themes. Sina faces severe consequences in Iran, where playing black metal is illegal and punishable by imprisonment. Kaiadas, a member of the far-right political party Golden Dawn, confronts the complexities of balancing his political beliefs with his musical aspirations.
As the film unfolds, the protagonists’ journeys converge in Norway, the birthplace of black metal, where they hope to fulfill their dreams of recording and performing in the genre’s holy land.
